History of TurnStyle

TurnStyle was originally established to design and manufacture a wide range of turned items ranging from staircase components such as spindles and newel posts to smaller items such as bowls, vases, finials etc.

Having been commissioned to produce various furniture components such as table legs and feet it seemed a natural progression to design and manufacture furniture in its entirety. TurnStyle, therefore not only preserves its commitment to provide high quality turned products but also takes great pride in the design and build of bespoke contemporary and reproduction furniture.

Located in an extremely well equipped workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne, TurnStyle is committed to using only the finest quality hardwoods, with close consideration given to its character and potential to compliment the finished work. Such hardwoods include Oak, Elm, Walnut, Maple, Imbuya, Ash, Beech to name but a few. All the timber used is sourced responsibly from sustainable origins.
